Psychosynthesis
- The foundation of the Hubers' approach to self-awareness.
A one-day course open to newcomers, Foundation and Diploma
students. Facilitated by Richard Llewellyn, Principal Emeritus
API UK., Dip.API, DMS.Astrol., Graduate of PET in Psychosynthesis
Therapy & Counselling.
This
brief introductory workshop to psychosynthesis will be partly
didactic but mainly experiential. Psychosynthesis is a growth
psychology which attempts to co-operate with the natural process
of personal and transpersonal evolution. On the personal level
psychosynthesis aims to build a personality which is relatively
free from emotional blocks, has command over its functions
and has a clear awareness of its own centre. On the transpersonal
level it enables the individual to explore the regions which
are full of wonder and beyond ordinary awareness - our true
spiritual essence. We will be working with visualisations,
drawing, writing, meditation and other exercises.

1 Part 1: The
Hidden Core - First steps in chart interpretation. A one-day
course open to newcomers, Foundation and Diploma students. Facilitated

The centre of our chart reflects our deepest motivations. Understanding
its imagery can give us clarity about why we choose to do things
the way we do and can open up choices about how we approach
the future. This training event offers you the opportunity to
gain a deeper awareness and understanding of the different levels
of the chart, of how the aspect structure represents our inner
motivation, of how our aspect patterns can drive us and of how
to use chart shaping and direction to understand some of the
themes we repeatedly come across in our lives. For each topic
covered you will be encouraged to work on your own chart and
the charts of other course participants. This allows for a gradual
build up of understanding and gives you the experience of working
with living astrology rather than just the theory. Contact

Astrology 1 Part 2: The Planets and Their
Psychological Meaning. A one day course
for Diploma students or those with previous experience of the
Huber Method. Facilitated by Maria Maw,
Dip. API, API (UK) Course Tutor.
The planets represent our various sub-personalities. They can
be categorised into three groups, which reflect their roles;
the ego planets, the tool planets and the transpersonal planets.
Some of these we use all the time, some we are very familiar
with, some we like and others we barely acknowledge or actively
dislike. This training day is aimed at introducing ourselves
to these sub-personalities and putting names to their various
faces. We will look at which of the planets in our charts are
‘sleeping’, which are waking up to their potential
and which are actively awake and consciously expressed. Attending
this training day offers the opportunity to study not only your
own chart but also those of fellow articipants,
giving a much broader understanding and experience than personal
study allows. The day will include plenty of opportunities for
discussion and practical exploration.

3: The Astrological Houses - Where in the World are You? A
one day course for Diploma students or those with previous
experience of the Huber Method. Facilitated by Joyce Hopewell
Dip. API, Principal API (UK), API (UK) Course Tutor.
The
Houses in the natal chart represent our world and environment
- the arena of our everyday lives. The energy within the Houses
is not static or fixed. Each House or area of life experience
and expression has a unique dynamic energy curve which influences
our behaviour, via the planets placed within it. This training
day offers you the opportunity gain a deeper understanding
of the Houses using your own chart and the charts of other
participants. Practical work on the hemispheres and quadrants
of the chart will be covered, as well as the placement of
planets within the dynamic energy curve. Practical hands-on
experience with charts will be an integral part of this training
day, the aim being for students to be able to use the chart
in a cohesive way, drawing on the topics covered in the previous
two courses and combining that with material covered in this
third one.

APRIL 5-6 - THE JOURNEY BEGINS
Aries - the start of the ancient year and the beginning of the Astrological
calendar, begins your adventure into Astro-Shamanism. We will examine
your life-path on your individual Birth Chart and stand in the East
on the medicine wheel. You will work with traditional journeying
(visionary) techniques using the Native American drum and rattle,
increasing connections with your own POWER ANIMALS and SPIRIT HELPERS.
MAY 3-4 - WALK OF THE DRUM
We will work with the heartbeat of mother earth and explore healing
of ourselves and others through dowsing, ley lines, earth dragons
and rock divination. Sharing sacred Shamanic song and dance we will
connect with the ancient wisdom of Celtic trees. We will explore
the element EARTH and the energy of money on your own Birth Chart.
We will then clear blocks to encourage the joy of unlimited abundance.
JUNE 7-8 - SHAMANIC NATURE SPIRITS
Celebration of Father Sky, dragonfly, the lightness of being free
and connecting with the medicine of all our feathered allies. Working
with your personal spirit guides you will learn powerful divination
techniques enhance your visionary and healing skills. Map your astrological
patterns, looking especially at the element AIR, communications
and humour and connecting with healing these areas of your life
and path.
JULY 5-6- JOURNEY TO THE HEART
An emotional understanding of ourselves and others as we reawaken
to water’s message of vision, forgiveness and compassion and
take the spirit canoe journey of healing. Map your astrological
patterns, looking especially at the element WATER, we will journey
beside the sea and reconnect with its essence. There will be a sacred
water blessing spirit cleansing ceremony as we learn it’s capacity
to transform.
AUGUST
2-3 - VISIONARY HEALING
We connect with divine spirit to heal the soul and increase power.
Reconnect with the circles of the grandmothers we will work with
masks and drama to heal ancestral wounds. Map your astrological
patterns, looking especially at the element FIRE and connecting
with its essence. We will refine shamanic healing techniques –
including soul retrieval, removal of intrusions and restoration
of power.
SEPTEMBER 20-21 - PATH OF THE HUNTER
Through ritual and sacred ceremony we honour Grandfather Sun and
autumn EQUINOX. Working with SHAPE SHIFTING and INVISIBILITY we
will experience healing and protection techniques. Through TRANCE
DANCE and POSTURES we will shift old patterns and blockages, revising
and revitalizing ourselves for the long winter months to come.
OCTOBER 11-12 - KEEPING THE “KA TA SEE”
We will work on establishing and maintaining the KA TA SEE (balance)
in our day to day lives between the mental, physical, emotional
and spiritual aspects of ourselves. How to keep the magic, harmony
and beauty alive in our day-to-day lives. We will work with the
beauty of the structure of cells and the grace of body movement.
With swan’s grace we will work towards creating a shape-shifted
world of peace.
NOVEMBER 8-9 - WISDOM OF THE ELDERS
Reinventing yourself, cutting out that which is no longer helpful
to you. Psychic surgery. We will learn REMOTE VIEWING and diagnostic
bodyscan techniques, also gain deep insight and understanding of
death, dying and beyond as we learn PSYCHOPOMP TECHNIQUES. During
the SWEAT LODGE ceremony we will cleanse and rebirth the soul in
readiness for the long winter months ahead.
To
be held at the delightful, secluded Retreat Centre in the West Sussex
by the sea. Bed, breakfast and delicious home-cooked meals (to be
paid separately at the venue).
Each workshop is £150 (reduced to £120 if attending
6 or more)
